Marketing support

Strategic marketing support, built around your business.

We work with small businesses across New Zealand who need ongoing marketing — but don’t have the time, capacity, or headcount to manage it in-house.

Whether you need help leading the strategy or just need someone to get things done, we work alongside you to keep your marketing moving. Clear priorities, practical execution, and always on time.

Our approach

We’re not an agency. You won’t be passed to a junior or tied up in layers of process. You’ll work directly with a senior marketing specialist who understands how to lead, manage, and deliver.

Some clients need full marketing leadership — strategy, direction, and delivery. Others just need consistent support week to week. We start with a free audit to understand where you're at, then shape the support around your goals, pace, and internal capacity.

We take on a small number of retainer clients so we can stay involved, responsive, and genuinely useful. We also quote for individual projects when that’s a better fit.

What’s included

We start with an audit. It gives us a bird’s-eye view of your brand, your audience, and where your marketing is currently sitting. From there, we map out what’s working, what’s missing, and how to move forward — at a pace that makes sense for your business. Then we get to work.

We offer end-to-end marketing support for small businesses across New Zealand. That includes strategy, content, digital marketing, and operational setup. We’ve done this with a wide range of businesses, and we know how to make the moving parts work together.

Here’s what that can look like:

  • Strategy and planning
We help define your positioning, understand your audience, and prioritise the right channels. This could include brand strategy, marketing direction, or a digital content plan built around your goals and internal capacity.

  • Content and social media
Content creation is a big part of our mahi. We can lead, plan, or support the delivery of social posts, email marketing (EDMs), blogs, or broader content campaigns. How involved you want to be is up to you.

  • Digital touchpoints
We keep your website current, functional, and conversion-aware. That might mean refining user experience, improving site structure, or shaping content that supports your goals. We work across Shopify and Squarespace.

  • Project management
We collaborate with trusted photographers, videographers, designers, and developers when needed. You don’t need to manage a creative team — we brief, direct, and keep everything connected.

  • Marketing operations
From building systems and templates to streamlining how things get done, we help make your marketing more consistent and sustainable.

  • 1:1 consulting and coaching
Some clients use their hours for regular strategy sessions or idea workshops — a space to soundboard, refine, and plan without the overwhelm. Whether you need help making decisions, shaping campaigns, or seeing the big picture more clearly, we’re here for that too.

Who this is for

We work with small to mid-sized businesses across New Zealand who are ready for their marketing to grow up a little. That could mean building structure, showing up more consistently, or handing things over so they’re finally off your plate.

You might be:

  • A product-based business scaling into ecommerce and needing a stronger marketing foundation

  • A service provider who’s outgrown the DIY and wants smarter systems, better content, and a clear plan

  • A small team that needs someone who can speak both marketing and digital, and keep the work moving without a full-time hire

Whether you’re based in a regional centre or working remotely from somewhere rural, we work in a way that’s flexible, practical, and built around what’s possible for your business.

What is costs

Marketing support is shaped around your business. Some clients work with us on retainer, others book in for short-term projects. Either way, we’ll always start with a free audit and a clear scope of work — no guesswork, no surprises.

Retainers start from $2,500 per month. This might include strategy, content planning, social media delivery, website updates, or anything else agreed in your scope.

If you’re not ready for a retainer or just need help with something specific, we’re happy to quote on a project basis.

Let’s talk

If you think this sounds like a good fit, book a free 30-minute discovery call. We’ll talk through where you’re at, where you want to be, and whether ongoing marketing support is the right next step.

We only take on a small number of support clients at a time, so we can stay close to the work and actually make a difference.

Frequently asked questions

Do you only work with retainer clients?

Not at all. While most of our clients are on monthly retainers, we also quote for one-off projects or short-term support. It all depends on what you need and how hands-on you want us to be.

Do you offer marketing coaching or consulting?

Yes — if you’re in the early stages and not quite ready to outsource, we offer 1:1 coaching to help you build a strong foundation. That might look like strategy sessions, content planning, or support thinking through your next steps. It’s a great way to get senior-level input without committing to a full retainer.

What’s the difference between this and hiring a full-time marketer?

Working with Artura means getting senior-level support without needing to hire in-house. You get someone who can lead, manage, and deliver — and tap into a wider team if needed — without the overhead of a full-time role.

Do you offer social media management?

Yes — social media support is a big part of what we do. This can include content planning, scheduling, copywriting, and posting. Some clients come to us just for social media, but most end up needing broader marketing strategy and support too.

Where are you based?

Some of our favourite projects have come from regional towns and rural communities — the places where doing great digital marketing really makes a difference. Whether you're in Nelson, Taranaki, or somewhere in between, we're set up to work remotely and stay connected.

What’s the difference between this and an agency?

We don’t hand you off. You’ll work directly with a senior marketer, and we only take on a few clients at a time. We’re more flexible than a traditional agency and more strategic than a freelancer — think of us as your off-site marketing team.
