Social media management
Be worth discovering.
Strategy-led social media and content for New Zealand ecommerce, product and service businesses. Built to earn attention, grow familiarity and give the rest of your marketing somewhere stronger to begin.
Explore ongoing marketing →Social is where brand discovery happens. It should not end there.
The first time someone notices your business may be a Reel, an ad, a founder story or a post shared by someone they trust. That moment matters—but reach on its own is not a growth strategy.
We shape social around the whole customer journey: what makes the right person stop, what helps them understand the offer, what builds trust over time and what moves them towards your website, store or enquiry form. The content has personality. The thinking underneath it is commercial.
Not content for content’s sake. A discoverable brand with somewhere to go.
Built for good businesses ready to be better known.
Ecommerce is a natural fit because social can shorten the distance between discovery and purchase. For service businesses, the journey is usually longer—but visibility, trust and proof still do the heavy lifting before the first enquiry.
Ecommerce + product brands
Turn products into stories people want to follow—and buy.
Product education, launches, lo-fi video, founder content, customer proof and paid-social creative, shaped around the way people discover, compare and choose online.
Service businesses + organisations
Make the expertise easier to see before someone needs it.
Useful content, credible proof, people-led stories and campaign moments that make an established business or organisation easier to understand, remember and trust.
Good social starts before the content calendar.
We do not begin by filling boxes with post ideas. We begin with the business, the audience and the job social needs to do within the wider marketing plan.
01
Find the role
Define who social needs to reach, what it should make them understand and where it should move them next.
02
Build the system
Create repeatable content territories, channel priorities and a practical rhythm the business can sustain.
03
Make the work
Plan, write, direct and produce content that feels native to the feed without losing the brand behind it.
04
Read and refine
Use audience response, campaign data and commercial priorities to decide what deserves another round.
What social support can include.
- Social media strategy and channel planning
- Content calendars and campaign planning
- Copywriting, scheduling and publishing
- Reels, lo-fi video and short-form content
- Photography and video direction
- Community management
- Paid-social concepts and ad creative
- Reporting, learning and optimisation
Social with a real job to do.
The channel changes. So does the brief. The common thread is content built around what the business is trying to make happen next.
Discover Whanganui · Social management
More than a year helping Whanganui show up consistently.
We provided social media cover for just over a year—planning, creating, scheduling and supporting the community around the destination channels before carrying that foundation into a digital-first visitor campaign.
That’s It · Paid-social content
Lo-fi content, shaped by what the ad data was telling us.
We plan and film natural, product-led video for the That’s It team to use in its Meta campaigns—giving them fresh creative designed around what the live performance signals are showing.
Fisherman Supply Co. — Paid social
Social support inside a much bigger growth relationship.
Meta ads and campaign content sit within our wider work across the Fisherman Supply Co. brand, ecommerce website, email, launches and ongoing opportunities for growth.
Social management is part of the marketing—not a separate island.
At Artura, social media management sits inside our ongoing marketing retainers. That means the content can work alongside campaigns, Meta ads, email, website updates and the wider commercial plan instead of competing with them for attention.

Can we hire Artura only for social media management?
Social media management is delivered through our ongoing marketing retainers because it performs best when it is connected to the wider strategy, brand, website and commercial goals. A focused support retainer may centre on social and content when your team owns the rest of the marketing.
Do you specialise in ecommerce social media?
Ecommerce and product brands are a natural sweet spot for us. We can connect organic content, lo-fi video, paid-social creative, launches and the path back to your Shopify website. We also manage social for service businesses and organisations where discovery, trust and reputation matter before an enquiry.
Do you create the photos and videos too?
Yes. Depending on the strategy, we can plan and direct photoshoots, create lo-fi phone content, produce Reels and short-form video, write the copy and build a reusable content library. We scope the right production level rather than making every post feel like a campaign shoot.
Which platforms do you manage?
Instagram and Facebook are the most common for our clients, with LinkedIn used where the audience and buying journey call for it. We recommend channels based on the customer and the job they need to do—not because every business should be everywhere.
Do you manage Meta ads as well?
We can manage Meta advertising, paid-social strategy and ad creative as part of an ongoing retainer. Organic and paid content can then learn from each other, while the advertising spend remains separate and is agreed around the strategy and budget.
Do we need a strategy before starting?
Yes. If you already have a clear, current strategy, we will review it. If the foundations are missing, we will begin with an Artura marketing playbook or full strategy. It prevents months of posting without a clear audience, message or commercial purpose.
Can you work with businesses outside Whanganui?
Absolutely. We work with businesses throughout New Zealand, including across our home ground of Manawatū–Whanganui and South Taranaki. Strategy, planning, approvals and reporting move easily online, and we travel for discovery, workshops and photoshoots when being in the room will materially improve the work.
Ready for social that carries more of the marketing?
Tell us what you are selling, who needs to discover it and where the current content is falling short. We will tell you honestly what level of ongoing support makes sense.
